The silence will be in memory of former club director Mike Cross and also supporter Carol Morris, both of whom sadly passed away earlier this week.

Mike Cross was a Director of Banbury United Football Club in the second half of the 1970s and in the early 1980s. In his later time with the club he was also the club's vice-chairman.

He was well known to both our current Chairman Phil Lines as well as current Club Ambassador Ronnie Johnson, having worked at the club with them in the 1980s. The photo below shows Mike, second from the left - also in the photo are then player/coach Phil Lines (extreme right) and second from the right Ronnie Johnson.

She was also a regular sponsor of United players and over the years her sponsosrship included Lewis Travers, Marvin Martin, Tommy Kinch, Nathan Haisley and Delroy Gordon.
