The board of Banbury United Football Club are delighted to announce that Banbury Golf Club have decided to join the club's Red & Gold Business Club for the 2017-18 season.

The Red & Gold Club offers corporate sponsorship with a package including programme advert, perimeter board, a match sponsorship, season tickets, company logo on the home page of the club's website and a free hire of the club's clubhouse.

United’s Commercial Director Mark Allitt was pleased to confirm the news and said “I’m delighted that Banbury Golf Club have increased their sponsorship with us for the coming season. Jim Phillips and Eric Smith who manage the course, supported us last year with a pitch side board, but have now decided to back us further. They are kindly offering incentives for BUFC fans to play at the club and will be hosting a Banbury United versus Banbury Golf Club Ryder Cup competition!”

Banbury Golf Club's Jim Phillips added “We’re delighted to join Banbury United’s Red and Gold business club. We have members of our club who watch Banbury on a regular basis and we feel this is a great way of promoting our Footgolf course to United’s fanbase. Eric Smith added “We’ve already had Ricky Johnson and Jack Harding try out the course and we’re really keen to see the fans come and use it too, so we’ll be offering discount vouchers to United's fans when the new season starts."
