United come back from a goal down and a goal deep into stoppage time at the end of the second half from Callum White earns them the three points

it was a fairly even first half hour to the game though Banbury had the best opportunity in this period when in the 14th minute Zac McEachran showed excellent skill when picking up the ball ten yards inside the Stratford half and then going on a forward run and getting the better of both James Fry and Liam Francis before shooting from just inside the penalty area, only to see his shot go just wide. In the 29th minute a Zac McEachran free-kick 30 yards out was put into the Stratford penalty area but only cleared out as far as Marvin Martin on the edge of the area whose fierce shot thundered against the crossbar but the referee had spotted a prior infringement in the penalty area from the original free-kick,

Banbury put Stratford under some pressure in the last quarter of an hour of the first half and had a succession of corners but nothing came of them

Stratford had a good spell early in the second half and Banbury were on the proverbial back foot and it was no surprise when the visitors took the lead in the 57th minute when good work down the right by Edwin Ahenkorah saw him then put in a low cross which was knocked home from inside the six yard box at the near post by Ben Stephens.

Banbury responded to going behind by putting Stratford under pressure and beginning to dominate the play. They didn't though create too much to bother Niall Cooper in the Stratford goal as the half progressed and Stratford might have made it 2-0 in the 70thj minute when a cross from the right by Michal Taylor fell to Simeon Tulloch at the far post but the substitute blasted the ball well over the bar when he probably should have done better.

However, Banbury would get that little bit of fortune that they needed when in the 79th minute an excellent low cross by Marvin Martin from the left was sliced into his own net at the near post by Guy Clark.

The equaliser was a huge boost to Banbury and they dominated the final minutes of the game.

Just two minutes after equalising a Zac McEachran cross from the right found Ricky Johnson at the far post who did well to bring the ball under control and make room for a shot but Niall Cooper in the Stratford goal did exceptionally well to block the United striker's effort at point blank range.

Five minutes from time Cooper again came to the visitors rescue when doing well to tip a McEachran shot from the edge of the penalty area over the bar for a corner.

In the 90th minute Martin set up McEachran on the edge of the penalty area and his shot looked bound for the bottom corner of the net but Cooper was again to deny United when tipping the ball around the post for a corner

With the game well into stoppage time, it looked though as United would have to be content with a point but three minutes into time added a deep crosst from the right by Callum White sailed over Cooper's head into the far corner of the net, much to the delight of the home fans.

Overall, Stratford were worthy of a point but that's football for you and you have to give Banbury credit, after three consecutive defeats, for not settling for a point late on, their positivity earning them in the end the three points.
