Football legend Bryan Robson was in Banbury on Friday of last week - and Ron Atkinson comes to the Banbury United Clubhouse on Friday week

It's not often that a footballing legend comes to Banbury but on Friday 9th March our home town welcomed Manchester and England legend Bryan Robson for a night of memories and insight into our professional game at General Foods Social Club in Banbury.

For on Friday week 23rd March in the Banbury United Clubhouse we have an evening with Ron Atkinson. With host and local comedian Matty Bragg

Big Ron spent his playing career at Oxford United, where he still holds the club record for appearances.

As a manager, he won the FA Cup with Manchester United in 1983 and 1985, The Football League Cup with Sheffield Wednesday in 1991 and Aston Villa in 1994. He also managed Coventry City, Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion amongst others!
