The club are delighted to confirm that they are looking to appoint a full time coach for their United in the Community programme. This is an outreach programme that is aimed at engaging with schools and other agencies to provide opportunities for participation in football locally and increase awareness of Banbury United,

The programme includes

• Delivering football coaching to specific groups in the community to support the objectives of Cherwell District Council funded programmes.

• Coaching students in the Banbury United Academy set up in partnership with Banbury and Bicester College.

• Setting up and delivering football programmes and sessions for schools in North Oxfordshire.

• Setting up and run holiday coaching courses for young players

The club will receive funding for the post from partners and will also be supported by donations from the newly established Community Lottery.

We are very excited by the opportunity for Banbury United to have a greater presence in our local community, to encourage active lifestyles and increase the influence of the club.
