The winners will be at home to Southern League East Division side Hartley Wintney in the Third Qualifying Round. Should Banbury be the winners this would be played next Tuesday 28th November in place of the League game against Kettering Town

Football in Farnborough has had an up and down recent history, primarily due to financial problems. The former Farnborough Town Football Club were a Conference club as recently as 2005 and its replacement, plain Farnborough FC quickly worked its way back to the top reaches of Conference South before encountering its own financial issues and suffering relegation and a subsequent enforced relegation to the Southern League Central Division.

Farnborough were promoted via the play-offs at the end of last season from the Central Division. They have had an inconsistent start to life in the Premier Division this season, illustrated by an excellent win at Hereford but suffering six defeats in their nine home league games. Scoring goals has not been the problem but letting them in at the other end seems to be – a bit like us then which may well explain the entertaining 3-3 draw at Farnborough a couple of weeks back! Mind you Farnborough kept a creditable clean sheet on Tuesday when drawing 0-0 at Chesham United in a league game so will arrive in a confident mood.

Admission Prices: Adults £10, Concessions (Over 60s and Full Time Students) £6, Under 16s £1.

Programme: There will be no new programme for this game. It is not reasonable to expect supporters to pay another £2 for a programme which would be virtually the same as the one issued for the game that did not take place a week ago last Tuesday. However, we have 25 copies of the programme from the original game left - these will be put in the Banbury United Programme Shop at the Town End which will be open from around 2.00pm - those supporters who could not attend the original midweek game but want a programme can pick up a copy from the Shop for the reduced price of £1 - but if or when they have gone they've gone! And why not take a look around the programme shop anyway - it has some great programmes, magazines and books in there and Programme Shop Manager Keith Reading will be delighted to see you.

Kick-off 3.00pm
