Over 40 girls in Year 3 and 4 took part on the day, held in great spirits at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium.

We invited schools to the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium to take part in our annual girl’s football festival. Over 40 girls in Year 3 and 4 took part in football activities followed by games against each school. The day was held in great spirits with lots of cheering and encouragement. The day was organised by our woman's first team manager Mark Andrews. Mark also runs our wildcats programme for 7–11 year-olds on a Thursday night as well as our Squad Girls session on a Monday for girls 11+.

Ryan our community coach also attended the day along with Liam our Community Apprentice. Ryan had this to say about the day "The day was an around success showing exactly what the club can provide to all local girls in the area. As always, our aim is to give everyone the opportunity to play the game we all love. Not only can it improve your football skills, but so much more like your self-confidence, communication skills and making friends for life! We hope to continue this in the coming years.”

We also had a representative from The National League. We always appreciate the support and advice from the National League who have helped us with so many of our community programmes.
