The board of Banbury United are delighted to announce that JLD Driver Training will be sponsoring the club’s King’s Sutton End Terrace in a deal worth a four figure sum to the club for the remainder of the current season.

JLD became a sponsor of the club last season with pitchside advertising, but fans will now see the company’s brand added to the popular King’s Sutton End in an eye-catching way.

Mark Allitt, United’s Commercial Director was delighted to see JLD increase their commitment to the club and commented “I’m really pleased to have JLD backing the club in a bigger way and I’m extremely grateful to the directors for supporting us. After securing sponsorship for the ground as a whole, the main stand and town end, this was the final piece in the jigsaw and I’m delighted that we have another established local firm sponsoring this end of the ground.”

Director of JLD Driver Training, Lisa Dixon, was also quick to praise the deal “We were approached by the club and really liked the concept behind the proposal. To have our name added to the King’s Sutton end at a time when Banbury United is fast building a reputation in the town as a professional well run organisation is perfect for us. The club now has a vision and is ambitious – this is what we need to hear as a sponsor and we’re delighted to be supporting a fan owned organisation”

Banbury United Chairman Ronnie Johnson was also pleased that the club’s relationship with JLD had been strengthened further and said “I’m delighted that our partnership with JLD Driver training has developed and I can’t thank them enough for the extra support they’re giving us”
