United complete their season with a game at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium against Kettering Town tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) 3.00pm

Kettering narrowly missed out by just a point on the play-offs last season. On that basis one might have expected them to have at least been challenging for a play-off place once again this season but that has failed to materialise for though they have been comfortably in the top half of the table all season, they have not been consistent enough to put a serious bid in for a top five place.

As for ourselves our challenge for a play-off place ground to a halt when we lost at Leamington on Easter Monday. Manager Mike Ford will though be keen for the club to finish the season off on a positive note in front of a home crowd.

It is a designated Red & Gold day tomorrow. Supporters are asked to wear their red and gold colours with pride in recognition of what has been an excellent first season back in the Southern League Premier Division

Tomorrow’s match is sponsored by DHL - Banbury United are grateful for their support.

After tomorrow’s game against Kettering, we have our usual end of season Charity game. This year a team representing Puritans Radio take on Rock the Atic, raising funds for the “Let’s Play Project”, a charity that specialises in the provision of play and leisure opportunities for disabled young people.

Away supporters are advised to use OX16 5AB for their Sat-Nav as the club’s official postcode may well take you elsewhere!

Supporters should note that the old Chiltern Railways Car Park on the Tramway Industrial Estate is still available for parking free of charge. This will provide a quick getaway after the game, avoiding the problems of getting out of Station Approach and help ease possible parking congestion at the ground. Entrance is via Swan Close Road and car park is at the bottom on the right, it is free to park there, thanks to Chiltern Railways. Post Code for the Chiltern Railways Car Park is OX16 5TB. Turn right out of car park, through the bollards and turn right down Station Approach – ground is 300 yards on the right.
