Adult admission will be halved to just £5 for both of our next two home league games against Shortwood United and Tiverton Town

Adult admission will be halved to just £5 for our next two home league games against Shortwood United on Saturday 19th March and on Easter Saturday 26th March against Tiverton Town.

The Board were delighted with the response of the local community to the half price admission offer which was made for the recent game against Winchester City, with the crowd of 589 being the highest at the Spencer Stadium for almost six years when we had a local derby against Brackley Town.

Therefore the club has decided to again cut the standard adult admission price from £10 to £5 for the next two home games against Shortwood United on Saturday 19th March and on Easter Saturday 26th March against Tiverton Town to encourage the town to turn out and get behind theiir team in their quest for promotion. And Under 16s will be admitted free.

The game against Tiverton, as well as being a £5 entry day, will also be an Easter Funday. Details of some of the fun events planned will be announced later. This game is also being nominated by the club as “Red and Gold Colours Day”. Everyone on the Board would like to see more red and gold colours being worn around the ground on matchdays and supporters are thus being asked to try and make the ground resemble a proverbial “sea of red and gold”. There will be a prize for the best dressed supporter in red and gold.

The club would appreciate it if supporters could tell family, friends and work colleagues about this £5 offer for these two upcoming games. If you are able to display a match poster in a suitable place on a notice board etc. then that would be very helpful. The club will of course be promoting these days and the offer heavily but if supporters are on social media then if you can use that medium to help us promote the day that will again be much appreciated. Hopefully we can get big crowds on these consecutive Saturdays to get behind Mike Ford’s team.

Finally for clarity it is £5 admission across the board applicable to all adults for the game against Shortwood United and again £5 admission across the board to all adults for the game against Tiverton Town so there will be no additional reduced concessionary rate for over 60s or students. As mentioned earlier though under 16s will be free for both games.
