The Puritans Radio stand at the King's Sutton End of the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium was officially opened last week

The Puritans Radio stand at the King's Sutton End of the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium was officially opened on Tuesday ahead of Banbury United's first home game of the season against Halesowen Town.

Station Manager, Stewart Green and Banbury United mascot, Spencer the Puritan cut the ribbon, watched by our match day team on the night, Tom St John, Dave England, Tom Burridge and Pete Emms.

Banbury United's Development Manager, Nigel Porter and Chairman, Phil Lines were also at the ceremony.

Station Manager, Stewart Green said "The supporters have waited a long time for some cover at the Sutton End, and I am very proud that Puritans Radio had made it possible by sponsoring the stand."
