There were two new players for whom the paperwork was completed today to enable them to be part of the United squad that played at Hinckley tonight.

These were:

18 year-old central midfielder Tanasheh Abrahams (pictured) who is a scholar at Barnet Football Club and joins United on "work experience" from the Conference National club. One notable claim to fame is that Tanasheh won the February "Goal of the Month" competition for the Football League Youth Alliance Leagues last February after scoring directly from a 25 yard free-kick against Brighton & Hove Albion. He also spent two months on loan with South African Premier League side Mameladi Sundowns last season. Tanasaheh came on as a substitute at Hinckley.

The club also had on the bench at Hinckley, though not coming on, 20 year-old central midfielder Josh Baines who played for Salisbury City reserves in the Wyvern Combination last season.
