We are aware that Cherwell District Council have received an outline planning application from Hallam Development Ltd for the area East of the Rugby club known on the local Banbury Plan as Banbury 4 & Banbury 12.

It shows provision for 850 houses and a Sports area. This area includes the provision of changing rooms and several football pitches. This is adjacent to the land set aside by CDC for our relocation. We welcome the proposed provision of these extra football pitches which are much needed to provide training and coaching to the local community. There is also provision for a potential Secondary School within the development. At this time the planning application does not include our proposed new ground site, however positive talks regarding this between all the parties involved continue and the club will keep our supporters informed of any developments when confirmed.

The Board will now carefully consider this proposal to determine if it needs to take any formal action in relation to the planning application
