Press Release - Community Club attracts New Sponsors for Season 2015/16

The interim board of Banbury United are delighted to announce new sponsors are supporting the club since its transfer to a community benefit society.

Local companies have not been slow to react to the news and have been in touch with the club, to express their support to the new look organisation. In light of that the following organisations are backing the club with new pitch side advertising boards or banners for 2015-16 season. These are, The Bowling Green Steakhouse; RDT Motors; West Cornwall Pasty Co; NASUWT, The Teachers Union; Chiltern Railways; Banbury Print and Design, Cherwell Garden Machinery, R Johnson Electrical Ltd and Sew Sublime.

Roger Teideman of RDT Motors, one of the new sponsors backing the new look United commented “It’s great to see the club being taken over by the supporters and we’re more than delighted to back them and the new community club”

RDT Motors will also be sponsoring first team coach Matty Haycocks and young right back Callum White during this season's campaign.

Interim Commercial Director, Mark Allitt has been enthused by the support and commented “It’s been a real boost to all of us, that we’ve had this early interest from local companies. Now we’ve taken control of the club, we’ll be going out directly into the business community to spread the word about what’s going at Banbury United and I would encourage local businesses to get in touch with the club”

The club starts its FA Cup campaign with a trip to Hartley Wintney on Saturday.
