Glenn McCrory's Legends of Boxing Tour kicks off at Banbury United’s Spencer Clubhouse on Thursday May 16th with "An Evening with Ricky Hatton"

It will be a unique chance to spend time in the company of one of British boxing's most successful and popular fighters of all time. ‘An Evening With Ricky Hatton' show is a hilarious glimpse into the life and career of the man affectionately known as "The Hitman"

One of the best British fighters ever, Hatton was once universally regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world and his all-action style and crushing body shots earned him a huge fan base in his native Manchester and far beyond.

The Show promises to be a fantastic night with Q&A and interview by Glenn McCrory "The voice of Boxing" the Former World Cruiserweight Champion embarks on his Legends of Boxing Tour starting in Banbury.

Commenting on the news Sportz Connexions Director Kevin Baker said, “It’s great news for the town of Banbury that the boxing legends tour is starting here and a real coup that it’s starting with such a great fighter as Ricky Hatton. We’re really excited and can’t wait to hold the show at Banbury United’s Spencer Clubhouse”

United’s Commercial Director and Promotions Manager, Mark Allitt added “We’re delighted that Sportz Connexions are holding another top night of entertainment at Banbury United. We’ve formed an excellent working partnership and after the successful Liverpool and Arsenal legend events, we can’t wait to host their first Boxing event with such a big name as Ricky Hatton

The night will support the local Horton Hospital Brodey Cancer Centre with money being raised on the night.
