Sportz Connexions Events will host its first ever event at Banbury United FC Clubhouse on Friday the 26th October. The company was co-founded by Kevin Wilson who left Banbury United to go on and play over 600 league games for clubs that included Chelsea, Derby County and Ipswich Town.

Sportz Connexions Events will deliver an entertaining evening with Kop Legends Alan Kennedy and Phil Neal who will bring along the European Cup trophy for photos and take questions from the audience.

Wilson said "I went along to an Evening with Bryan Robson last March at GF Social Club as a guest and I really enjoyed it and I thought, with my connections in the professional ranks of football, putting on a show like that would be something I would enjoy and it would also help clubs such as my hometown club Banbury United who would benefit from bar sales etc. and also local charities. I will be inviting the Brodey Centre which is a Horton General Hospital Charity and who do amazing work with cancer patients, to do a collection on the night, as well as other proceeds of the evening going their way."

Wilson approached local promoter Kevin Baker to act as a consultant for the event after the successes with his John Barnes and Bryan Robson shows earlier in the year.

The event will take place on Friday the 26th October and is bound to be a big hit with Liverpool fans who remember Kennedy and Neal lifting the European Cup in the 1980s, during Liverpool's most successful era.

Guests will be treated to a sausage and chip supper, stand-up comedy with Johnny Tait who will host the event and direct the Q&A.

Fans will also get a chance to have a signed photo with the legends and the European Cup.
