Squad Addition

1 week ago By David Shadbolt

The club can confirm that the paperwork has now been completed to bring 20 year-old forward Amer Awadh to the club

Amer was born and currently lives in Oxford, coming through the youth system at Oxford City, playing primarily for the Nomads sides though he progressed to make a few first team appearances for City. He was in the Oxford City side that beat Banbury United in the quarter-finals of the Senior Cup in February 2016.

Amer has more recently been playing for Fanja SC in Oman. He has been training with Banbury in recent weeks but the club has had to wait for international clearance which has now been received so that he is now eligible to play.
