Players and club friends travel to Krakow, Poland

The Puritans may have missed out on the play offs at the end of the season but it did not stop a small group of players and club friends heading to Europe for a memorable weekend break in Krakow, Poland.

An early morning flight on 11th May from Stansted aboard a Ryanair flight was the start of an European adventure for the Puritan’s quintet – Phil (Rory The Lion ) French, Terry (The Sponge Man) Callow, Ricky (Number 9) Johnson, Mark (Supersub) Bell and Jack (The Whistler) Westbrook.

The United scarf travelled with the gang and found its way to many bars and clubs, being worn by many new friends during the European Fiesta – The red & gold army will be remembered with a host of singalongs during the visit and the echo of United United heard across the Polish town!

A visit to the local go kart track brought the competitive edge out in the group with the smell of burning tyres as they buzzed around the track in 30 second lap times but the ultimate event came with the unique visit to a local “shooting range” for a safe controlled environment to experience powerful rifles at close quarters.

The taste of Europe was somewhat short but the experience will be long remembered by the United Entourage!
