United players donate one of their gallon bottles of whisky won for team of the month last season to local charity Katherine House Hospice

Last season United won the Evo-Stik Southern League South & West Division team of the month award for January, February and April. As well as a trophy on each occasion the club were presented with a gallon bottle of Bells Whisky.

Banbury United players and management were keen that one of these bottles should be presented to the club’s nominated local charity Katherine House Hospice, to perhaps be included as a prize in a draw or raffle or otherwise as the Hospice sees fit.

This presentation was made this afternoon and the photo shows United players (left to right) Charlie Wise, Ricky Johnson and Darius Browne presenting the gallon bottle of whisky to Moira Logie and Dean Harris from the Fundraising Department at Katherine House Hospice.

As Banbury United’s current nominated charity the club are looking forward to working with Katherine House Hospice over the coming season on a variety of projects with the aim of helping to raise funds for the Charity.
