Banbury United are delighted to announce that the club’s Town End terrace will be sponsored by Work Area Limited for the 2016-17 season.

Commenting on the deal, Commercial Director Mark Allitt said “I’m extremely pleased that Work Area Limited have decided to sponsor a very special part of our ground. Our supporters are well known for congregating behind the town end goal and creating a tremendous atmosphere to spur the team on, so I’m delighted to find a local business to sponsor this area and help us push the club forward. Neil Hancox the Managing Director of Work Area Limited was keen to up his sponsorship for this coming season after having a pitchside advertising board last season. Supporters now visiting the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium will see Work Area’s branding on the terrace”.

Neil Hancox was also very pleased to be able to support the club and added “I’m delighted that I was able to support the club last season with pitch side advertising. However, I wanted to support the club in a bigger way this season and help in any way I could. To be able to sponsor the Town End is special for me as I used to help my dad when he ran the tea bar on the terracing back in the 70s! It’s really exciting to see the club rise up again, everything seems to be heading in the right direction and I want to help the club be successful”.

Commenting on the news, United chairman, Ronnie Johnson said “It’s fantastic news for the club to secure another sponsorship deal. Neil Hancox wanted to support us and was very keen to make this deal happen. We thank him for being the latest sponsor to support our community club”.
