Banbury United are delighted to announce that Castle Quay Shopping Centre will be the club’s women’s team home shirt sponsor for the 2017-18 season.

Commenting on the news, Banbury United’s Women’s Secretary Hannah Thomas said: “I’m thrilled that Castle Quay, the town’s main shopping centre, will be sponsoring the women’s home shirt for the forthcoming season. We have recently reformed the women’s section and brought in a new management team to work with them. They’ve assembled a very good squad and the team has had a positive start to the season. For us to have sponsors on board with us straight away is very important and the fact it’s someone as high profile as Castle Quay is very exciting news.”

Castle Quay Centre Manager, Paul Jackson said: “We’re very happy to be supporting the reformed Banbury United Women’s team. Here at Castle Quay Shopping Centre we’re always keen to reach out and show our support to the community. We wish Banbury United Women’s FC the best of luck this season.”

Banbury United Commercial Director, Mark Allitt also commented: “The board of Banbury United are very proud of how the women’s section has started the season and the professionalism of the management team and players. To have such a well-known local sponsor working alongside them is excellent news and a further boost to what we’re trying to do as a community football club.”
