Banbury lose first home game as they tire late in second half
Banbury concede in first minute and then weather a short period of intense pressure from the away team, catching them offside numerous times. Banbury's first attempt came from a ball over the defence and Tyrese Smith's shot was well over the bar. Another ball over the top was collected by Nathanael who gave the goalkeeper no chance. 1-1 after 32 minutes. Half Time 1-1.
Banbury had the best opportunities in the first quarter of the second half with two Nathanael Wakefield shots saved by the keeper. Chesterton retook the lead on 48 minutes with their first shot of the half after a freekick high over Banbury's defence. The game was then fairly even until the last 10 minutes when Banbury players started to tire and Chesterton scored four goals without reply.
