United's Women's side pick up three points with impressive 5-1 win over Oxford City U23 with Zoe Pugh notching four goals It is now six consecutive wins for the United Women's side in all competitions. United led 2-0 at the interval, both goals from Zoe Pugh. By the hour mark she had notched her four goals to see United leading 4-0. Paige Ridley scored United's fifth direct from a free-kick midway through the half before City got what would prove a consolation on with just over ten minutes to go. Though Zoe will get the plaudits, and rightly so, for her goalscoring exploits it was a great all round team performance from all the outfield players and including some excellent saves from United goalkeeper Katie Wise. Well done the Banbury United team as follows: Katie Wise, Rachel Dunbar, Paige Ridley, Lorna Stanley, Niamh Smith, Sophie McCrystal, Faith Adegoke, Megan Gibson, Kira Rogers, Chelsea Preedy, Zoe Pugh. Subs: Clem Dewhurst, Millie Armstrong, Heaven Leigh-Baseley, Erin Mutlu. Video shows Zoe Pugh's excellent finish over the goalkeeper for her fourth goal. Video of all the goals to follow later this evening and full match highlights in due course, though due to the excellent game and quite a lot of highlights, City playing their full part in that, that might not quite be finished this evening United Women are at home in the quarter-finals of the Oxfordshire Women's Cup next Sunday to Goring United - note 1.30pm kick-off
