Logistical info for our home and away matches against Brackley Town on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day

After Saturday’s away fixture v Warrington Town, we have our two much-anticipated local derbies to take us through the festive period and into 2024. This article is to recap on ticket sales, promotions and entry requirements for home and away supporters, for both these Vanarama National League North fixtures.

Both matches are segregated and will have additional police and security presence to encourage a safe and enjoyable matchday experience for everyone.

Boxing Day, Tuesday December 26th – Banbury United v Brackley Town. Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium. Kick-off 1pm.

Tickets can be purchased on our website, here.

BANBURY SUPPORTERS: there are no ticketing restrictions and you can buy tickets online or at the gate, up to kick-off, as normal.

This match is the last one in our “Bring a Buddy” promotion, open to all Banbury United members and season ticket holders (and their lucky buddies). All members need to do is buy their full price match ticket online or at the gate, present their membership card, membership number or season ticket at the gate on arrival and their accompanying buddy can enter for just £5. Please note that buddy ticket purchases can only be made at the gate. The buddy will then be issued with a complimentary drinks token – to claim a free beer, cider or soft drink from the main clubhouse bar.

BRACKLEY SUPPORTERS: you must buy your tickets online before 10am on Boxing Day. This is purely so that we have sight of numbers and then time on the day, if necessary, to change the boundary of the away area of the ground, should your numbers reach a certain point. We want to ensure everyone is comfortable!

New Year’s Day, Monday January 1st – Brackley Town v Banbury United. St James’ Park. Kick-off 1pm.

The game is strictly “all ticket”. Online sales are available to both sets of supporters until kick-off.

Tickets can be purchased on the Brackey Town website, here.

BANBURY SUPPORTERS: Tickets must be purchased online only. There will be restrictions for two tickets per category per sale (e.g. two adult tickets, two concessions, two children). ID will be required at the point of entry to the game where random checks will be made. ID comprises photo ID (e.g. driving licence or passport) and bank statement or utility bill with name and address. Should Brackley’s ticketing system identify multiple purchases then tickets will be cancelled.

BRACKLEY SUPPORTERS: The ticket office has now closed and all tickets must now be purchased online. ID will be required and photo ID (e.g. driving licence or passport) and bank statement or utility bill with name and address.

All Under 14s must be accompanied by a full paying adult.

Limited car parking is available at the ground priced £3 (payment on entry in cash only – please present the correct amount). If a disabled bay is required, this must be booked in advance and is at no charge.
