Banbury Plant Hire extend sponsorship for three more years in bumper deal

The board of Banbury United are delighted to announce that Banbury Plant & Skip Hire have extended their sponsorship with the club for another three seasons until the end of the 2012/22 season. The deal is worth close to a six-figure sum to the club over the period of the sponsorship. The club’s main sponsors will continue to sponsor the first team home shirt, the stadium and provide shirts for the club’s youth sections.

Commenting on the news, Banbury United Commercial Director Mark Allitt said “I’m absolutely delighted that Banbury Plant Hire are going to back us with another three year sponsorship deal. The Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium has become synonymous with the club over the past three seasons and the home shirt and youth shirts followed on from that. The backing that we have received from Banbury Plant Hire is one of the main reasons the club has been able to establish itself since we became supporter owned. I cannot thank enough Nigel, Nathan, Owen and all the team at Banbury Plant Hire for the continued encouragement and support for our supporter owned club.”

Director of Banbury Plant Hire Nathan Matthews was also quick to praise the deal and said “I’m so pleased we have been able to agree a fresh deal with Banbury United. When the club approached us early in 2019 with the view to extending, it was a very easy decision for us, as we want to keep supporting the club as it continues to grow. Our business has certainly benefited by being associated with Banbury United, so it was a no brainer really. The club is in a very good place off the pitch and is branching out more with its community projects which we applaud. We wish all sections of the club great success over the next three seasons.”

Banbury United Chairman Phil Lines was also extremely happy with the news and said “This is a brilliant eye-catching deal for the football club. Nathan and everyone at Banbury Plant Hire have been magnificent in their support to us since 2016. I’m looking forward to working with them for another three years and strengthening our partnership further.”
