Everyone put up a spirited performance in which we competed admirably throughout the first half and put on an excellent defensive showing limiting Launton to very few opportunities. Rachel Aspinall organised and commanded her defense.

Launton finally broke through taking the lead in first half injury time.

Banbury continued to battle for every ball throughout the second half but a very strong Launton team managed to add two more goals to their tally late in the second half to record a 3–0 victory to take them to the top of the league.
