Unfortunately, we got off to the worst possible start gifting a goal to our visitors within 70 seconds of the start and never quite recovered. Mursley extended their lead midway through the first half.

Banbury responded well and Alex pulled one back just before half time when Terri played the ball through for Alex who ran from halfway and calmly drove the ball past the oncoming Mursley keeper.

Mursley came out the stronger in the second half quickly increasing their lead to 4–1 before Alex stepped up again and receiving the ball from Kyra unleashed an unstoppable volley from 20m.

Mursley completed the scoring with the last kick of the game to seal the three points running out 5–2 winners.
