Ben is an 18-year-old versatile midfielder or defender who completed his scholarship with League 1 side Burton Albion last season, being named their “Scholar of the Year” at the club’s end of season awards.

Ben’s progress at the Staffordshire club was rewarded with his first professional contract this past summer.

Ben has experience of men’s football, having spent the second half of last season on a work experience loan deal with Northern Premier League side Mickleover Sports for whom he scored five goals.

Ben trained with the squad yesterday evening and we welcome him to the club.
