Born Famous

We’re looking forward to Channel 4 documentary Born Famous that airs on Monday evening at 10 pm.

The first episode features Jack Ramsay, son of chef Gordon, looking at his father’s time in Banbury.

Gordon is known to have played football locally and we are hopeful the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium will feature!

Club legend Dave Shadbolt has dug out a fascinating programme from a pre season friendly in 1984 which lists Gordon as one of United’s subs in a game against Northampton Town.
