The magic of the FA Cup has already started at The TUGO Community Stadium, ahead of this Saturday’s FA Cup First Qualifying Round against Exmouth Town FC. Residents from Highmarket House joined Banbury United’s first team training for their own session last week as the squad prepared in earnest for what the town hopes will be another successful FA Cup run. Players and staff met with residents and their carers as community coach, Ryan Jones, guided them through a goal-scoring training session. Memories of Banbury United teams of the past were relived. The special guests then stayed to watch the full training session.

Highmarket House (Care UK) started sponsoring Banbury United at the beginning of this season after some of their residents asked if they could come and watch a match. After a great day out, the management of the care home got in touch with Banbury United and asked how they could get more involved.

This week is not just a big week for Banbury United; Highmarket House is also unveiling a major refurbishment of its central Banbury home on Thursday September 3rd. All are welcome to come and look around between 2pm and 4pm.
