28-year-old centre back, Charlie Wise, has signed for the Puritans from Evesham United FC.
Wise was a part of United’s promotion winning side of season 2015/16 before leaving the club in August 2016 for Kidlington and then moving on to Wantage Town in February 2017.
Charlie re-signed for Banbury in September 2017 before moving to Corby in 2019. Since leaving the Steelmen he’s made appearances for Bromsgrove and been at the heart of Evesham’s defence, where this season the towering defender has bagged himself four goals.

On re-signing for the Puritans, Wise said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to get the opportunity to be back at my hometown club! I love the club and all the people associated with it and am ready to fight and scrap to get us to safety!

There was a time where I thought I might not get the chance to play for Banbury United again but to get this opportunity is incredible. I will give everything I have for the shirt as I always have and can’t wait to meet the lads and get going.”
