Defender Jake Walker joins the Puritans on loan from Villa

The 19 year-old Aston Villa academy product, who plays primarily in either full back position, broke into the Villa Under-23 squad in season 2017/18, even though at that time he was still playing for the U18s. Last season Jake made 23 appearances for the U23s team in Premier League 2, as well as having games for Villa U18s. He has also played regularly for the U23s this season and also appeared for Villa in two EFL Trophy games this season against Salford City and Tranmere Rovers.
