Details of arrangements for spectators for this Saturday's game

We are looking forward to welcoming supporters to the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium for our Emirates FA Cup tie against Barrow on Saturday 6 November. There are a few changes to usual matchdays not least the start time of course, 5:15 pm. If you are lucky enough to have a ticket please take time to read through these to help you enjoy the day.

No tickets can be purchased on the gate. The match is sold out.

Due to the requirements of accredited personnel there is no spectator parking at the ground except for blue badge holders. Spectators also cannot park on Station Approach. We would encourage supporters to try and use public transport or be dropped off close by or park at a pay & display in town and walk to the ground to avoid congestion around the ground. However with the fantastic support of Chiltern Railways we have arranged free parking for spectators at the Railway Station from 2.30 pm with parking in the car park off Station Approach, OX16 5AB, that we have used for recent games and in the multi storey car park, Banbury Station East, OX16 4QR. Of course this is not unlimited and the earlier you arrive the more likely you are to find a space. Please follow guidance of stewards in these areas.

The gates open at 3 pm.

At the turnstiles there will be separate entrances for Adults (and accompanying small children) and Concessions - 65+, Students, 18 and under. ID may be needed here. People who bought seated tickets online will need to collect a pass for their seat here.

Spectators are segregated for this match. Barrow fans enter the ground via the Town End turnstiles. To access these, walk down the slip road off Station Approach until you see some white light industrial units and a gym ahead of you. Turn right here and after approx 50 metres you will enter the ground with turnstiles on your left. Barrow supporters have an area on the Town End along the touch line to the left of the stand and approx 30% of the seats in the stand. The tea bar will be open here selling hot and cold drinks and snacks. Temporary toilets are available. There is no bar in this area though.

Banbury supporters must enter via the Clubhouse End turnstiles. Inside the ground Banbury supporters can turn right and access the Clubhouse side of the ground but only those with seated tickets can enter the stand. The ground level here is reserved for wheelchair users and their carers. Banbury spectators cannot access the Town End from this area.

The rest of the ground is available to Banbury supporters however please follow instructions from stewards in respect of movement around the ground, the area opposite the Clubhouse on the Bankside side of the ground will be one way only at key times. We ask all spectators to help minimise overcrowding in areas.

The bar will be open along with the kitchen as usual, and the unit on Bankside side will also sell refreshments. Like for the FC United if Manchester game we will also have the Hooky Bar and an additional food outlet in a fan zone accessed from the Nigel Porter gate, there will be additional toilets here too.

Alcohol cannot be consumed whilst watching the game and the clubhouse bar will close before the game and open at half time and full time. The Hooky Bar will be open before, through and after the game but spectators cannot take drink outside of this area during the match.

As you know, unlike other clubs, we have not increased ticket prices for this game, apart for U18s, from the usual £11. However some bar/food prices will be rounded up to help make sales faster on the day. We trust supporters will understand.

In addition we will be producing a 76 page souvenir programme at a price of £3. We will run the 50/50 draw as usual and hope for a bumper prize. The club shop will relocate for the day to the stage in the Clubhouse. We will have a paramedic and ambulance on site to supplement our usual first aiders.

Generally we encourage all supporters to have regard to the Governments current guidance concerning Covid and to be mindful of the welfare of other supporters and volunteers

Supporters are reminded that our standard ground regulations are in place with items prohibited within the ground including - alcohol, flares or similar and glass bottles. We will take action against anyone identified as being in breach of these. There are a very small number of spectators who will be refused entry to the game following behaviour at the end of the Leiston match

We know supporters will get behind the team and we are all looking forward to the big match atmosphere under our new lights.

We hope this is clear and will help supporters enjoy the big day at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium. We will endeavour to answer any queries which should be sent to info@banburyunitedfc.co.uk.
