We are continuing our foodbank collections to support BYHP, the Banbury Young Homelessness Project.
BYHP is a charity supporting all young people aged between 13 and 25 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, disadvantaged (and often their families) or simply in need of some advice and support. It covers the areas of Banbury, Bicester, Brackley, Chipping Norton and the surrounding villages. They offer services in three core areas supporting between 200 and 300 young people annually: Housing and Homelessness Advice - Health and Wellbeing - Training and Employability.
Sadly foodbanks are becoming a necessary part of society. BYHP are a very worthy local charity who we are pleased to support and we hope supporters will do so too at our upcoming home games and over the coming months.
In 2020 we hope that our Community Coach Ryan Jones will be able to work with them to provide football activity for some of the people they work with.
Donations from supporters to the food bank would be greatly appreciated. There will be a drop off point in the Clubhouse.
