Introducing The TUGO Community Stadium

. Banbury United

Innovative food service solutions company will base its community initiatives from Banbury United as our new stadium sponsor

We are delighted to announce Banbury United’s new stadium sponsor, TUGO - Innovative Food Solutions. From today (August 11th 2026) – on the occasion of our first home match of the 2026-27 football season – the stadium has a new name: The TUGO Community Stadium.

The partnership brings together two organisations built around shared ownership and community values, with Banbury United owned by its supporters and TUGO owned by its employees.

Employees of Adderbury-based TUGO, including Banbury-born entrepreneur and the company's founder and CEO, Lee Personius, visited The TUGO Community Stadium earlier this afternoon to meet local children enjoying Banbury United in the Community’s summer camp (see main photo).

Lee Personius, CEO and Founder of TUGO, and Wayne Farrell, Chairman of Banbury United FC.

Lee Personius said, “As someone born and raised in Banbury, supporting organisations that make a positive difference in our community has always been important to me. TUGO has proudly supported Banbury United over the past two seasons, but when the opportunity arose to become stadium sponsor, we saw the chance to create something much bigger than a naming rights partnership. The TUGO Community Stadium provides a platform to strengthen the connection between local businesses, grassroots sport and community initiatives. Under our 'United as One' banner, we want to bring people together and create a lasting positive impact across Banbury. As an employee-owned business, community is at the heart of everything we do, and we're excited to work alongside Banbury United to grow initiatives such as our Christmas Hamper Appeal and support even more local families in the years ahead."

Banbury United’s central location offers TUGO a perfect base from which to operate its annual Christmas hamper donation initiative via The Lunch Box Project. Last year, the TUGO team, with local champions Prabhu Natarajan, Rowan Ridley, and Jonathan Wise, delivered more than 500 food hampers and toys for distribution via 10 Banbury schools. Banbury United will help TUGO take its hamper donations to the next level.

Banbury United Chairman, Wayne Farrell, said: “Lee and the TUGO team have been incredibly supportive of Banbury United. It’s no secret that we have had a significant financial gap to fill over the summer – not just to fund our football operations, but to sustain and develop our amazing community venue. Like many of our generous sponsors, TUGO has stepped up to help us. The message from our fan-owned Club to TUGO’s employee-owned business is: thank you!”
