#KHHPaceAroundTheWorld – As we reach the three-week mark of our walking and exercise challenge to raise money for Katharine House Hospice, here are the latest stats from our Magnificent Seven:

1,705,311 kms moved in 21 days
Average of 166.2 km per team member.
6th place on the leaderboard for total distance travelled
All 107 participants (13 teams) have travelled 27,973,748 steps as of this morning: that’s Adderbury to Broome in Western Australia.

Building extensive sessions of exercise into our daily routines has meant extra bouncing on the trampoline with grandchildren and going out somewhere in a group but walking back alone home afterwards! This challenge could also be measured in terms of podcast hours.

Two of our team start new jobs in June and have used the challenge to get to explore new workplace locations and facilities. Holidays have been taken – to date, our Pace Around the World T-shirts have been spotted on the South Downs, the Hubbard Hills and a cruise on the Med! Next stop, Arthur’s Seat!
