Josh is a 25-year-old, Oxford born, central midfielder who started out playing for Northway and Marston Saints in the Oxford Mail Boys League later joining the Oxford United Centre of Excellence. In the summer of 2011 Josh took the opportunity to transfer, at the age of 14, to then Premier League club Fulham’s academy, progressing with the Cottagers to complete his scholarship, sign his first professional contract in 2014 and though never making a first team appearance, going on to captain their U23 side in season 2016/17.

After being released by Fulham, Josh spent seasons 2017/18 and 2018/19 with National League South side Chippenham Town, making a total of 72 appearances and scoring 10 goals for them, earning a move up a level to National League side Maidenhead United in the summer of 2019. In three seasons at York Road, Josh made 60 appearances for the Magpies, scoring three goals. Last season also saw Josh have a short loan spell with National League South side Billericay Town.

Josh will feature in the squad for tonight’s Pre-Season Friendly away at Evesham United.
