Banbury United Launches ‘Keep the Ball Moving’ Challenge for Children in Need

Today, we’ve announced an exciting new initiative in support of BBC Children in Need — our very own “Keep the Ball Moving” challenge!

The idea is simple but powerful: from schools to community groups and fans of all ages, we’ll be working together to keep a football moving throughout the day — all to raise funds for children and young people across the UK.

On Friday 14th and Saturday 15th November, members of our Banbury United in the Community team will be out and about across Banbury, visiting local schools, community groups, and supporters to take part in “Keep the Ball Moving” sessions. Each group will choose their own activity — from football matches and relays to community walks or other creative ways to keep the ball rolling!

This event is about more than just football — it’s about bringing people together, celebrating teamwork, and showing how our club and community can make a real difference.
