United’s commercial director, Mark Allitt was quick to praise the support the club has received from the Jarvis family “We’re absolutely delighted that L Jarvis & Son’s will be sponsoring the home shirt again as we move back into the Southern League Premier Division. It was poignant that the club won promotion last season shortly after Paul Jarvis had passed away. He was a tremendously loyal supporter of our football club and stood by us through the hard times and we’re delighted that after positive discussions with his son Paul-Michael, the Jarvis family will continue to support us".

L Jarvis and Sons Director Paul-Michael Jarvis, was also pleased to confirm the deal and said “We’re so pleased to see the club come straight back up after the disappointment of relegation the previous year. My dad would have been delighted to see Banbury win the play-off final and we decided to continue our support as he would have wanted. “

As well as having L Jarvis and Sons on the front of the home shirt, it was also be on the back of the away shirt. The company will also have advertising in the ground and in the programme. The shirt design will remain the same.

Banbury United Chairman Ronnie Johnson was also pleased to have the continued support of L Jarvis and sons going into the coming season “After such a successful season it’s important that we keep the momentum going and therefore it’s extremely important to have loyal sponsors alongside us. We thank everyone at L Jarvis and Sons for their continued support.”
