The Board of Banbury United Football club is extremely pleased to announce that Marston’s Brewery have agreed to extend their sponsorship of Banbury United’s Clubhouse, known as the Spencer, until the end of the 2019/20 season.
In a deal worth four figures to the club, United’s Commercial Director Mark Allitt said “I’m delighted that Marston’s have agreed to extend their sponsorship with the club. We signed a one-year deal last summer, with an agreement to review things again this year and with both parties very happy with progress, it made sense to show a further commitment to each other. This deal will see Marston’s sponsor the Spencer Clubhouse until the end of the 2019/20 season so it’s great news for the club.”
Charlotte Robertson, Marston’s Business Development Manager for the South Midlands, was also very pleased to confirm the extended sponsorship partnership and said “We’re delighted with the progress the Spencer Clubhouse is making and Banbury United as a whole. I said last year that we were very interested and intrigued to be supporting a fan owned club and it’s great to see the club progressing and the plans they have for the future. We’re more than delighted to be sponsoring for another two seasons.”
Banbury United Chairman, Phil Lines, also added “We’re very grateful for the support from Marston’s and I look forward to working closely with them over the next two seasons.”
