Farsley Celtic visit on Saturday

Following our valiant effort against league leaders Kings Lynn on Tuesday night we return to action against Farsley Celtic at home on Saturday.

We currently sit in 12th place, however we have multiple games in hand on the teams above us, having played 29 games which is the least in the league. A win on Saturday could see us go up the 10th depending on the results for Gloucester and Curzon Ashton. Our form has been mixed as of late, we have won 2 and lost 3 of our last 5 games, Andy Whing’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways on Saturday.

Our opponents currently sit in the relegation zone, 22nd in the table on 33 points, however they have games in hand on the teams above them and should results go their way, a win could seem them out of the relegation zone come Saturday. Farsley have been in decent form as of late having won 2 and drawn 3 of their last 5 games, their most recent result being a 0-0 draw with Kettering. They remain in the FA Trophy and play Gateshead in the Quarter Finals. We are looking to avenge a 3-1 defeat at Farsley back in October.

It's also Past Puritans Players Day and there will be a chance to meet some legendary ex players from different generations.

The club really value your support. Let’s get behind Whingy and the lads as they look to get back to winning ways on Saturday.

Admission prices are: Adults £15, Concessions £11 Students with ID £8, U18s £5 U11s £2. These can be purchased in advance see our ticketing site

Our usual procedures apply Banbury supporters should enter the ground via the Town End turnstiles - cash/card pre-purchased and season ticket holders may enter here. Season ticket, pass holders and pre-purchased ticket holders may also enter via the Clubhouse turnstiles, there is no cash/card payment here. Turnstiles will open from 1.15 pm tomorrow.

We welcome Farsley supporters who have been allocated the Sutton End of the ground. This is standing only. You should enter the ground via the Sutton End turnstiles that are to the far left of the main car park. Stewards will be on hand to direct you. Toilets, refreshments including bar sales are available at the Sutton End but there is no access to the bar for away supporters. Turnstiles will open from 1.30 pm.

Please ensure you leave plenty of time for parking (see below) and getting into the ground.

A reminder that possession or use of smoke bombs or pyros within a football ground is a criminal offence and we will take action against anyone doing so.

We have a 56 page programme available at a cost of £3 with regular features on our opponents, a welcome return of Sam’s Travels and an article looking back at teams of various generations who will be represented tomorrow.

There is very limited spectator parking at the ground. It is always available for those requiring accessible parking. Spectators also cannot park on Station Approach or on Tramway Road. Additional car parking is available close by in the Banbury Railway Station car park off Station Approach, where, thanks to the great support of Chiltern Railways, parking charges will not apply between 1300 hrs and 1830 hrs on Saturdays. Free parking also includes Banbury Station East Car Park the multi storey car park accessed via Merton Street, the other side of the railway. Although slightly further from the ground you will be able to depart quicker from this car park after the game than from Station Approach.
