Saturday’s initial tie ended goalless at Chasetown's Scholars Ground, with the Puritans unable to make the breakthrough. This was despite playing against ten men for nearly an hour after Chasetown were reduced to ten men following a 36th-minute sending off. Both sides had chances in a fiercely contested cup tie, but the stalemate means it all comes down to tonight under the lights.
The Puritans will be aiming to make home advantage count and book their place in the next round (away at Leiston), while Chasetown will take heart from their resolute performance at the weekend and arrive determined to cause an upset.
With the prize of progression to the Third Qualifying Round on the line, it promises to be another dramatic FA Cup night in Banbury.
We encourage all supporters to come along, get behind the Puritans, and help create a big FA Cup atmosphere at The Spencer Stadium, powered by egg.
