Match Preview: Banbury United v Tamworth FC

. Banbury United14 Jul - 13:30

Footy for a Fiver (£5!) as Tamworth FC visit tomorrow evening, kick-off 19:45.

Join us tomorrow evening, Tuesday 15th July, at the Spencer Stadium, powered by egg, as we welcome Tamworth FC for our second home pre-season friendly (KO 19:45).

Kelvin Langmead’s side will be aiming to build on the momentum from a promising second-half display in Saturday’s narrow 3-2 defeat to Oxford City. With the squad continuing to gel ahead of the new season, this fixture provides another valuable test.

This match is sponsored by Hanwell Fields Primary School, as part of our Clubbing Together initiative - aimed at welcoming new faces from the local community to Banbury United during pre-season. Please make the mascots and their families feel welcome, as you did so brilliantly on Saturday with the children from Bishop Loveday Primary School.

We’re sticking with our "Footy for a Fiver" offer – meaning all tickets are just £5! Even better, 2025/26 Season Ticket Holders and all U18s can enjoy FREE entry – not just for this game, but for every home pre-season friendly.

Due to ongoing roadworks, vehicular access to the ground via Station Approach (the entry road to Banbury train station) is currently unavailable. Supporters travelling by car should instead use the newly opened Tramway Road (opposite the Morrisons supermarket). Both routes remain accessible on foot.

Please note parking at the ground is limited. Supporters are advised to use the multi-story Banbury train station car park on Merton Street (East side, across the tracks), where parking charges apply.
