The pre-season fixtures begin this week for The Puritans, as Simon Hollyhead’s side head to Racing Club Warwick.

Ahead of the game, Puritans boss Hollyhead spoke about the pre-season schedule ahead.

He said to Puritans Radio: “Pre-season is an opportunity for people to develop and progress from the levels they’re at. I'm keen that the core group that has been with us in pre-season training get 45 minutes game play.

“We will be setting out to use the pre-season matches to work on certain things as we prepare for the league. This is the time to make some mistakes and learn. It's part of the plan and okay as things are starting form."
