Joe Johnson of Chipping Norton Builders is such a familiar face at the Club, as well as in the terraces at away games, that you’d be forgiven for thinking he’d been around Banbury United forever. He’s actually only been a Puritan for the past five or six years, coming down regularly after his friend, Gary Johnson (no relation!) of Britannia Joinery, first brought him to the Spencer Stadium.

We don’t have favourites but Joe might just be the easiest sponsor to keep happy. “Why do I sponsor Banbury United? Because I really enjoy it!” And that, it appears, is enough for Joe, who contributes very generously in return for a few season tickets.
