Britannia Joinery is a bespoke joinery specialist based just a stone’s throw from The Spencer Stadium, powered by egg. In fact, their location on Tramway Road is only around 100 yards from the pitch as the crow flies.
The business is proudly owned by Gary Johnson, Darren Bunting, Matt Kershaw, and Lee Foulkes, who collectively bring decades of hands on experience, local knowledge, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
“The Britannia Boys” visited the stadium recently to fit a bespoke new door to The John Ward Club Shop (pictured). It perfectly matches our dressing room doors, made and fitted a couple of years ago by Britannia Joinery, which are unofficially the smartest dressing room doors in non-league football!
What They Do: Craftsmanship With Character
Britannia Joinery is known for manufacturing high quality bespoke joinery, with specialist expertise in heritage and listed buildings. Their team produces everything from bespoke windows and doors to staircases, gates, conservatories, kitchens and more – combining traditional methods, including mortice and tenon joints, with modern precision to deliver outstanding results.
The company operates with a 50/50 commercial and residential split, offering the same high standards whether they’re working on a family home or a large scale commercial project.
A massive thank you to Gary, Darren, Matt, and Lee for their continued support. We look forward to building even stronger connections with one of our closest neighbours—literally!
