As many supporters will have noticed, longstanding sponsor, L Jarvis & Sons, has put its name to our beloved Town End this season, with prominent new signage dominating that side of the pitch, from the back of the terrace to Ann’s Tea Bar.

L Jarvis & Sons has provided scrap metal recycling, site clearances, car scrapping and skip hire for over 60 years and through three family generations, from its base on Thorpe Road, Middleton Cheney. The company was founded by Luke Jarvis Snr, the father of Luke and Paul and grandfather of Paul-Michael and Benjamin Jarvis, who run L Jarvis & Sons together today.

Paul-Michael Jarvis, who played for Banbury United under 18s and Reserves in his youth, attends as many Banbury United matches as possible with his two sons, George who is five and Jack who is 11.

My father, Paul, was a well known Banbury Utd fan, he attended games both home and away for many years until he sadly passed away in 2016.
