Meet the sponsor: Titanium Talks

. Banbury United4 Aug - 17:17

A truly family affair

Titanium Talks’ Justin Manley and many members of his close and extended family (and friends that are also like family!) are part of the woodwork at Banbury United. They have supported the Club through thick and thin. Justin’s father, Terry never missed a Banbury United match and Justin jokes that he was such a fan, he even came to watch Banbury United on the afternoon his twin brothers were born!

As a pipe technician in the utilities industry, Justin dreamed of one day making enough money to be a sponsor of Banbury United. No-one could ever have imagined how an almost tragic work accident in 2015 would change his path, leading him to set up his own business, Titanium Talks, which since being established in 2020, has indeed allowed him to become a generous sponsor of our Club.

Having recovered from his serious head injury and reflected on the need to be prepared for unexpected events at work, Titanium Talks was set up to educate people on the importance of health and safety through public speaking events. Through Justin's story, which is a testament to humans’ resilience, determination, and ability to turn tragedy into a force for positive change, the company has developed to promote not only workplace safety, but mental well-being, and a culture of compassion and awareness. This is underpinned by Justin’s recent gaining of a Diploma in Performance Psychology.

Titanium Talks is also run by Justin’s wife Melanie, who is kept extremely busy taking bookings for Justin’s talks, which stretch well into 2026! The couple are not only firm supporters of the first team - also with sponsorship of Banbury’s no. 1. Jack Harding - they have spent many years following Banbury United Youth teams, with their and their friends’ children having played for them over the years. There are also Manley family members destined for the newly rebuilt women’s team. (The main photo above was taken at the recent Women’s football day at Banbury United).

Thank you, Justin, for your continued sponsorship and support of Banbury United Football Club.
