The progress we've seen under Kelvin has been really encouraging, and we want as many people as possible to be part of what we're building here at Banbury United. We've looked carefully at our pricing this year, balancing the need to grow matchday revenue with our commitment to keeping The Spencer Stadium accessible and welcoming for everyone in our community. We believe football is for everyone, and our pricing reflects that.

Why are we launching Puritans+?

We’ve discussed at length with our members the challenges of generating income at Banbury United, exploring different mechanisms to help protect both the playing budget and the quality of football.
Most of our income currently comes in one-off payments: gate receipts on the day, season ticket sales, and occasional fundraising appeals. It works, but as we’ve seen in recent seasons, postponements can hit us hard which means we’re always planning around income we can’t fully predict.
As a fan-owned club, we depend on supporters like you. If you’re new to the club or haven’t been for a while now is the time to get involved.

What is the Puritans+ subscription?

Puritans+ a new tiered monthly subscription that gives supporters real value at every level while helping the Club build a more stable financial base. Whether you attend every game or only make it along occasionally, there is a tier designed for you.

What does it cost and what do I get?

There are four tiers to choose from. Pick the one that suits how you follow the club.

How do I get a Puritans+ subscription?

Sign-up through the Banbury United ticketing website via the memberships tab.
You will then be directed to our third party partner site (Stripe) where you’ll be sent an email with 48 hours to set up your direct debit.

Choose your tier, enter your details, and set up your Direct Debit – in a matter of minutes.

* Online advance pricing applies when purchased before midnight on the Thursday (Saturday fixtures) or Sunday (mid-week games) before the match. *
Please note, there is just one set of general entry prices available at the gate.
Puritans+ Basic members must purchase their tickets online in advance, where their discount will be applied. There are no member prices available at the gate.

The Club will announce ticket pricing for the pre-season friendlies shortly.

Upfront season tickets

Puritans+ sits alongside existing payment methods - not instead of them. If you’d prefer to pay upfront in one go, you can.
Across all age categories, a season ticket grants a 34% discount vs on the day match ticket prices when attending all 21 home league matches.

As per the Puritans+ season ticket, entry to all our pre-season home matches will be free for season ticket holders. This will be a digital ticket with a QR code for scanning. If you have selected to purchase a physical card there will be a £5 charge. If you attend a match held before cards are issued, we'll check your name on the gate.

Upfront CBS membership

We encourage as many Banbury United FC supporters as possible to become members of the Club where you can vote and contribute in other ways to our present and future. If the Puritans+ route is not for you, you can still purchase a standalone membership for £25. As per last season, there will be an option to provide a donation of an additional £15 towards the Club’s costs.

Please note that the upfront CBS membership no longer includes a discount on match tickets. This benefit is included within the Puritans+ Basic level.

The benefits of CBS membership - July 1st 2026 - June 30th 2027
The following benefits apply to all CBS members:

Discounted venue hire of The Spencer Clubhouse of 15%. One booking per season per member, subject to availability. Venue hire costs only.
Voting rights and access to ad hoc exclusive members' meetings throughout the season, including the AGM and any special general meetings. U16s may not vote.
Regular monthly email updates from the Board of Directors, with exclusive information from the Club.
Priority on all ticket sales with regards to limited away allocations or Cup matches during the 26/27 season.
Sponsor-related discounts on presentation of your membership card, as announced. We will provide further details through the season.

Frequently Asked Questions
Got a question about Puritans+? We've answered the most common ones below.

Q - How does it work?
A - For Puritans+ Season Ticket and above, you will click ‘purchase’ on our ticketing website. There will then be a link sent to you via our partner Stripe, to set up the rolling Direct Debit.

Q - Can I put the season ticket/membership on my phone?
A - Yes, the season ticket can be added to either your Apple or Google Wallet, which is the simplest option and will avoid any issues with a misplaced card.

Q – For how many months a year does the direct debit get taken from my account? What happens if I join after August? Can I end my subscription at any time?
A - Memberships taken out after July but before September will incur an additional one month's subscription fee. This ensures that all members are aligned to the same renewal cycle, maintaining fairness and parity across our membership base.

If you join from September onwards, you will be charged monthly with no catch-up payment required.

Q - What happens if my Direct Debit bounces?
A - Stripe will attempt it three times. Should it still bounce then we will be in touch. The QR code will turn inactive and not allow entry until resolved.

Q - How will I collect my membership items?
A - This will be possible at pre-season and league games (subject to shipping). Should you wish to make alternative arrangements, please contact tom@banburyunitedfc.co.uk.

Q - Can I get a physical season ticket card?
A - Yes, there will be a charge of £5 to cover production costs.

Q - Can I just buy a regular season ticket?
A - Yes, you can buy one up front as in previous years, either online or in cash.

Q - Can I get a membership and donate?
A - Yes, this will remain a possibility as in prior years.

Q - Can I use my discount on shirts on multiple transactions?
A - No, this will be one per member.
