Banbury United is pleased to confirm that award winning local company, Reg's Catering, will be providing matchday catering at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium for the 2022-23 season. They are well known in the area for their catering services and the popular Reg's Café on Thorpe Way.
Founded in 2013 by husband and wife team Reg and Alison Howe, with an aim of serving up great British “plain cooking”, Reg's Catering is a family-run enterprise supported by a brilliant bunch of highly professional and loyal employees.
The arrangement will see Reg's Catering providing hot food, snacks and drinks inside the clubhouse and via an outside hatch as well as from Anne's Tea Bar.
Reg Howe said: "It has been great to see the progress of the football club in recent years and we are really looking forward to providing a first-class service for Banbury supporters and visiting fans on matchdays as well as for functions in the clubhouse. We hope this will be a successful long-term partnership off the pitch and the team continues to be successful on it"
Club Chairman Ronnie Johnson expressed his delight with the tie up: "We are really pleased to welcome a thriving Banbury business to the club. This will give us added facilities and an enhanced match day experience for spectators. I would like to thank our many volunteers over the years who have served food and drink around the club and look forward to our new relationship with Reg and staff as we move into the exciting challenge of Step Two football on and off the pitch."
Reg's Catering's first game will be our inaugural Vanarama National League North game against AFC Fylde on Saturday 13 August.
